Valencia Basket opens the Liga Endesa visiting the Real Betis Baloncesto's court

Valencia Basket men's team opens its official season in Seville to visit the Real Betis Baloncesto’s court (Friday 30th, 7:00 p.m., San Pablo, Movistar Deportes 2) in a game on the opening day of the 2022-23 Liga Endesa season. The meeting will mean the debut in an official match of Álex Mumbrú as head coach of the taronja team and the five signings could also make their official debut with the Valencia Basket jersey. The number of first games will be influenced by the final list for this game made by the coach, who has displaced the thirteen players he has available and who will decide on the eve of the game which of the three non-EU players (Rivero, Webb III or Harper) will not play on Friday afternoon. Millán Jiménez (left ankle) and long-term injured Martin Hermannsson will be sidelined due to injury. The Taronja team will try to break their particular bad streak against this rival, with whom they lost both games last season and on a court where they have lost on their last two visits. The last Taronja victory in San Pablo, in the 2017-18 season, curiously coincided with the only time that the Taronja team started the season in national competition in Seville.
